Living regionally, outside of Greater Melbourne, can affect access to services, and can be socially isolating. We have a vision for connecting and supporting people that live in regional Victoria, and Tasmania.
The Bendigo Regional Network was started towards the end of 2015 after surveying people living with SCI in the Hume - Southern Loddon areas of regional Victoria for their interests and preferences.
The group is open and always interested in welcoming new members to the group. Please feel free to contact us if you'd like to join, attend a meeting or learn more about it.

For the month of April the Bendigo SCI Regional Network group took part in the three day short course; Discovering the Power In Me (DPM). The course ran across three Tuesdays, over three weeks at the Bendigo Neighbourhood Hub and ended with a social BBQ.
The group enjoyed working together to help each other build positive expectations and goal setting. It was also a great the opportunity for the group to build and connect as a team!
The Bendigo Regional SCI Network group met at the Bendigo Neighbourhood Hub on March 9th; also welcoming a new participant.
The group received a talk from the Bendigo Councils senior Disability and Inclusions Officer who shared what initiatives they are currently involved in and projects they will be working on in 2016.
The first Bendigo Regional SCI network meeting for the year took place on Wednesday the 10th of February at the Bendigo Neighbourhood Hub.
The venue was very accessible; with plenty of parking options and friendly, helpful staff. We are hoping to get this group up going even stronger this year!
The group will meet again on the Wednesday 9th of March.
The Bendigo SCI Regional Network met again on Wednesday the 18th of November at the Camp Hotel.
Everyone enjoyed a social catch-up over lunch, while planning meetings and activities for the New Year.
The venue, the Camp Hotel, Eaglehawk was very good; easy accessible parking and friendly, helpful staff.
The Bendigo SCI Regional Network group met for the second time on Wednesday 21st October for a catch up over lunch at the All Seasons.
The group discussed how they would move the group forward and grow the network locally.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, 18th November, 1pm at the Camp Hotel, Eaglehawk.
