Ballarat SCI Regional Network - January 2016 Meeting

Despite the untimely weather, dropping down to about 15 degrees in the midst of summer and having been in the high 30’s the day before, the group still met outside at Lake Wendouree; taking cover under one of the parks rotundas. Being the first meeting for the year the group enjoyed a social catch up, while sharing food and drink – everyone bringing a plate to share.

Everyone enjoyed having general chat; reflecting on the previous year, what they had achieved in becoming a strong self-sufficient group, while also making new plans for events and activities for the year to come.

After the meeting, some decided to brave the elements, exploring the area and having a roll around the picturesque Botanical Gardens.

Brian has organised someone from OMNI Healthcare, supplier of Healthcare Equipment related services, to speak at the next meeting. They will also provide afternoon tea.
