Gary injured his spinal cord when he dived from Dromana Pier when he was 16.
He is married and has one son and two young grandchildren.
He is able to walk with the aid of two walking sticks but uses a manual wheelchair in any
situation where there's a lot of walking.
Gary believes in remaining positive and pushes himself to maintain his physical abilities
(although he has had some decline with getting older). he's interested in photography, fishing and golf. He has traveled widely, interstate and the US and Hawaii.
He is passionate about encouraging and motivating others with SCI.
