"Interested in skiing, gardening and traveling"
Jenny was admitted to hospital with back pain – an abscess that resulted her SCI ‐ and then spent several months in rehab. She was a single mother of three children when diagnosed with SCI, and admits it’s caring for them that has kept her going during dark times. She recently went on a cruise from Seoul to Canada via the Russian and Alaskan coasts, followed by a train journey through Canada from Vancouver to Calgary through the Rocky Mountains. The highlights of the trip were a helicopter flight over the glaciers and the incredible wildlife.
Jenny is interested in skiing, gardening and traveling. Besides her Alaskan cruise and Rocky mountain train journey, she has been to the USA and interstate on family holidays. She drives a modified wagon with hand controls and a roof hoist to store her manual wheelchair.
Jenny is living with T10 complete spinal cord injury for the past 17 years.
