"Don’t give up your life ambitions. Give a try!"
Pradeep is a very busy man! He currently holds multiple positions in various capacities at several disability focused organisations.
He is a Treasurer at the Disability Resources Center, a management committee member at Disability Discrimination Legal Services, part of the Disability Advisory Group for the City of Greater Dandenong, mentors SCI patients at the Royal Talbot Hospital (AQA), and a peer support worker three nights a week at the Austin Hospital.
He is passionate about helping others, and is currently involved in several disability-focused groups and committees in a voluntary capacity. The message he likes to pass on is “Don’t give up your life ambitions. Give a try.”
He uses a manual wheelchair, drives a sedan modified with hand controls, and lives in a modified house with an entry ramp and a modified kitchen and bathroom. He has been a single father to his son and daughter (both now at university). He has travelled internationally, and enjoys playing para-golf, Wheelchair badminton and scuba diving.
